CO-FOUNDER

Brad Bianchin

Brad graduated from Vancouver Island University with a degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture. After graduation Brad worked as a manager at a land based salmon farm, and as an instructor with North Island College training First Nations people in small coastal communities on salmon farming. Brad stepped away from ocean sciences sector to pursue a legal career, and he is currently a lawyer with Saanichton Law Group on Vancouver Island. Brad has returned to the ocean sciences sector and with his combined legal and environmental sciences skills, he hopes to enhance the blue economy with research, innovation and sustainable ocean networks.

Mike Wilson

Mike started his education in the fisheries/agriculture field. After a long career in emergency response, and as a serial entrepreneur, his passion for fish and shellfish brought him back to the ocean tech/aquaculture world. With his experience in business, the Sharkbyte team stands to hold a significant advantage over other companies in the ocean-tech sector.
